Naracoorte Seeds would like to thank all our customers who purchased Winter Mix in 2022. Together we raised $12,000 which was donated to Blazeaid.
Every season Naracoorte Seeds donates $5 for every 25kg bag of Wintermix sold with the money raised going towards a charity or cause close to our hearts, our clients and our region. In 2021, we raised $12,300 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, a vital service to our region.
In 2022 we chose to support BlazeAid. BlazeAid is a volunteer-based organisation that helps Australians in rural areas to re-build fences & other structures following fires and floods. They have made a significant difference to our community and region helping rebuild following local fires over the past 3 years in Keilira, Lucindale, Avenue Range, Langkoop, Poolaijelo, and Coles. The money raised will go towards fencing tools & equipment, safety gear, supplies for volunteers, and equipment maintenance.
Wintermix is a blend of annual Ryegrass, Persian Clover and Balansa Clover. This blend is a diverse mix producing strong winter feed ideal for grazing or you can lock it up for hay or silage. It is recommended to sow at 25kg/ha.
